Ep 7: 7-Figure CEO Mindset

Running a successful business while balancing multiple roles can seem overwhelming, but with the right mindset, delegation strategies, and productivity tools, it’s entirely possible.

In this episode of The Soulful CEO Path, host Kristin Constable was joined by Bunny Young, a seasoned entrepreneur, retired stuntwoman, and seven-figure CEO who has mastered the art of managing multiple businesses without sacrificing her personal life.

Here’s how to adopt a seven-figure CEO mindset that enables you to seamlessly integrate various roles, focus on high-impact tasks, and build a business that truly supports your life.

Embrace the Power of “Yes, And”

Bunny shared her “Yes, And” philosophy, a mindset that has allowed her to navigate various roles without feeling confined by any single one. This approach invites entrepreneurs to embrace the richness of all their interests and responsibilities. Instead of feeling torn between being a business owner, parent, or partner, the “Yes, And” mindset encourages us to welcome each role fully, seeing them as complementary rather than conflicting.

As a seven-figure CEO, this mindset is critical because it allows you to integrate different aspects of your life without compromise. When you embody “Yes, And,” you’re less likely to experience burnout from trying to fit into a single mold. Instead, you give yourself permission to thrive in all areas, which makes your business journey more sustainable and fulfilling.

Prioritize Your Priorities

The word “priority” was never intended to be plural—it’s about identifying what matters most and staying focused on that. For CEOs managing multiple ventures, clients, and responsibilities, prioritizing becomes essential. We advise keeping your primary goals at the forefront, both in business and personal life, and ensuring that every task you take on aligns with these priorities.

To implement this, start each week by setting a clear intention around your top goals. Identify the tasks that are directly tied to these goals and focus your energy there. By narrowing your focus, you can achieve more meaningful progress without feeling scattered across various low-impact activities.

Delegate Relentlessly to Focus on Your Zone of Genius

One of the most significant shifts that helped Bunny—and other seven- and eight-figure CEOs—achieve success is mastering the art of delegation. Effective delegation allows you to focus on what you do best while entrusting other tasks to capable team members. Many entrepreneurs hesitate to delegate, either due to financial concerns or the belief that no one else can handle tasks as effectively. This mindset holds many business owners back from growth.

To overcome this, start small. Hire a virtual assistant for a few hours a week and assign tasks that don’t require your direct involvement. When you focus your energy on high-value tasks that drive revenue or deepen client relationships, you free up time for strategic thinking and creative work, which are essential for scaling a business.

Shift from “Founder” to “Owner” Mindset

Many entrepreneurs identify as the “founder” or “CEO” of their business, but there’s a powerful shift in thinking of yourself as a “business owner.” While a founder is often deeply entrenched in every operational detail, an owner operates with a broader perspective. The owner mindset is about building systems, creating sustainability, and empowering others to handle day-to-day responsibilities.

Adopting this mindset means shifting your focus from managing every task to overseeing and optimizing the structure of your business. It’s about building a company that can function independently of you. By moving toward the owner’s perspective, you’re able to cultivate a business that supports your lifestyle, not one that depends on your constant involvement.

Use Productivity Frameworks to Maximize Efficiency

To maintain focus and productivity, Bunny recommends two powerful frameworks: the Pareto Principle (80/20 rule) and the Eisenhower Matrix.

  • Pareto Principle (80/20 Rule): Recognize that 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts. Identify the few high-impact tasks that contribute most to your business growth and prioritize those. By doing this, you can streamline your schedule, dedicating time only to tasks that drive significant results.

  • Eisenhower Matrix: This tool helps you categorize tasks by urgency and importance. In Bunny’s approach, the matrix divides tasks into four quadrants:

  • Important and Urgent (Do immediately)

  • Important but Not Urgent (Schedule)

  • Not Important but Urgent (Delegate)

  • Not Important and Not Urgent (Eliminate)

Using these frameworks together helps you maintain a high level of productivity without getting bogged down by busy work. This structured approach to task management enables you to focus on strategic initiatives and delegate or eliminate the rest.

A seven-figure CEO mindset is about more than growing a business—it’s about designing a life that feels abundant, balanced, and aligned. When you prioritize what matters, delegate effectively, and embrace tools that maximize your productivity, you create a business that serves your life rather than consumes it. True success doesn’t come from hustle alone; it comes from intentional choices, the courage to delegate, and a strong relationship with ourselves.
